Two Great Films in Two Weeks..

The Australia Cuba Friendship Society brings you two great movies in early August. Academy Award winner Michael Moore has received rave reviews for his latest film SiCKO, shocking expose on the state of health care in the United States. Whilst the film raises very serious issues and is at times very moving, Moore manages to entertain with his trademark antics and a good injection of humour. For more information on the film go to Michael Moore's Website.

Habana Blues is an enjoyable love letter to the never-say-die spirit of Cuba and to music as a way of life. The film is a vibrant portrayal of a group of musicians struggling to make the big time. Habana Blues has received great reviews around the world and is a must see for anyone with an interest in Cuba, it's people and it's music. For more information go to the film's website.
